COVID couldn't slow us down, as home repair and maintenance was considered an essential business and was excluded from the bans and shutdowns. With the help of goof friends and Google Ads, while practicing safety and being diligent with cleansing and hygiene, Charleston Custom Services continued to grow a happy base of customers. 

In the beginning of our 2nd year, we became a father-son team of two after junior decided to join dad full time. We also acquired an additional, solid customer base at a condominium in downtown Charleston, as well as another condominium complex and set of townhomes on Daniel Island. This caused us to have to give up a decent amount of continuous maintenance and repair work on Kiawah Island, permanently. This new, evolving customer base quickly became all the work we could handle, and just barely after the first year we had to shut down Google Ads because we could no longer keep up with those calls.

We never had a FaceBook, Google, or Yelp page...or even much of a website. In fact, this writing is the first update to this website in 2 years and 4 months! Having all those pages was originally in the plans, but then we never got around to it and it never became necessary. And when Google Ads was canceled, Charleston Custom Services became 100% word of mouth...ZERO ADVERTISING...and we have been this way for well over a year now.

Today, Charleston Custom Services is well into its 3rd year and continues to thrive. Almost every new customer is a referral from another, however, we do take some new work, depending on what it is.  Don't be afraid to give us a call to inquire about your project!
